During his trip to the Black Sea region, Kyrylo Budanov held a meeting with officers to discuss further actions within the overall strategy, and also presented awards to the HUR fighters from the “Special Unit of Timur” for their professionalism and bravery in defending our state during the war with Russia in the Black Sea. ▪️Together, they honored the memory of the soldiers who fell during the liberation of Zmiinyi Island and the Ukrainian territorial waters of the Black Sea from Russian occupiers. “Honor to the HUR fighters and all of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces! I honestly find it embarrassing that after all these years of helping Ukraine, there are still people who find the time and energy to go out of their way to bash me, lie about me, and straight-up invent stories. What many of those people seem to forget is that a lot of the guys and girls I help are also on Twitter. They read what’s being written. They see the lies you’re spreading. What really crossed the line for me was getting a message from my own friend who was genuinely upset after seeing one of those tweets. A person who is literally on the frontline, in Pokrovsk, felt he had to take time out of his day to respond to Russian bait trolls. To stop what he’s doing, record a video, and “prove” that I help them. That is insane. These people are fighting. They’re working. They’re surviving. And instead of focusing only on that, they’re forced to defend the truth because someone on the internet can’t stop harassing me. After all these years. Shame on those who are spreading this crap. I’m not going to name this person, but I will put this screenshot next to the video so you understand exactly what I’m talking about.
