RAW footage of the 13 December 2001 attack on India’s Parliament. Context: On 13 December 2001, a devastating terrorist attack took place at the Parliament House in New Delhi. Five Pakistani Terrorist carried out the assault. Six personnel of the Delhi Police, two members of the Parliament Security Service, and a gardener lost their lives. Due to the swift and courageous response of the security forces, all five attackers were neutralized. The attackers-Hamza, Haider, Rana, Raja, and Mohammad-were Pakistani nationals. They were members of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), two Pakistan-based militant organizations. India’s investigation revealed that the attack was planned and supported by Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). A JeM leader, Ghazi Baba, was identified as the main coordinator of the operation. For his role in the attack, Afzal Guru was executed in 2013. This incident led to intense military tensions between India and Pakistan, culminating in Operation Parakram. India does not forget. India does not forgive. When boundaries are crossed, the response is firm.
