The House just voted 215–208 to end an undeclared war. Mark Levin's response was to call a principled, decorated constitutionalist a "moron." So let's settle who actually read Article I. Madison. Lincoln. The actual text. And the one place the war power can still be enforced.

🚨EXCLUSIVE🚨 Joe Kent, former Director of the National Counterterrorism Center who resigned in principled opposition to the Iran War, spoke with our Chairman Dan McKnight at the Ron Paul Institute. Kent was an early endorser of Defend The Guard in 2022. "When I saw the casualties starting to come in, that for me was like, this is going to keep going and I can't be a part of this. I need to speak out to hopefully prevent more casualties from continuing to come in and to stop the bleeding," Kent explained. "The level of Israeli influence within our government, it's something I didn't understand until I was actually in it. And that's something major that we have to get out of our political system." Kent's proposal is that the Trump administration take a page from Ronald Reagan, and use his precedent from Lebanon in 1984 to withdraw our troops from the Middle East—removing Iranian targets—and let the situation deescalate in lieu of a final deal. "I would like to say to [the president] as a supporter, I truly believe in your message and your mission. You did do amazing things for this country. Come back—77 million of us do still support you; you can walk this back. We want to help you." So far, National Guard units from 18 states have participated in the Iran War, continuing to act as the backbone of the U.S. Armed Forces. "The dirty secret of the War on Terror, but really a lot of our enduring overseas deployments, is we need the Guard to actually do those. When I was over in Syria...I visited with the Iowa National Guard. They were running most the operations inside of Syria, they were the ones who lost those three to the Al-Qaeda insider attack. So, the U.S. military would be in a very bad way if they couldn't immediately grab National Guard guys to fill in all these different gaps and capabilities." Kent supports the Defend the Guard Act, which would prohibit the deployment of a state's National Guard into overseas combat unless Congress has voted to declare war, utilizing federalism as a way to enforce Article I, Section 8. "I think the states grabbing control of that, it gives us more power as the American people." "We definitely have a problem right now where we want an empire, and we're not very good at empire, and it's costing us our republic," Kent counseled. Our organization was founded in 2019 by veterans of the Global War on Terror opposed to endless, undeclared wars. Kent said he'd like to see more veterans take up initiative for the good of the country. "I don't get a lot of push back from War on Terror vets. I get a lot of support. And I think the more War on Terror vets we have step up into some sort of leadership position, especially in the foreign policy realm, I think the better off we'll be because we can say this is a bad idea. I think had more of us been in the room when these decisions were being made on this last iteration of war, I don't think it would have happened." When asked why it's so difficult for the ideas of Dr. Paul to penetrate Congress and the bureaucracy, Kent explained, "There's no special interest groups that are going to get rich by saying we don't need more war...There's just so many moneyed interests which are making a killing off of sending us to war." Our team is immensely grateful for Joe Kent's service, his patriotism, and most importantly his loyalty to the men and women he served with 🇺🇸

"They believe in a 'war economy'...They'll say 'Marjorie, you have thousands of jobs in your district that rely on these government contracts.' Well, you want to know something, I'm not very interested in funding an economy that's based on killing people, especially innocent people and children."- Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, our Chairman Dan McKnight gives a tribute to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington. Established after World War I and manned continuously by a sentinel since 1937, it's a memorial for the countless Americans killed overseas, their final resting place unknown to their government or their mothers, only to God. We owe these fallen heroes our reverence, but we also owe them the republic they died for. Watch now to learn the full story.

On 9/11, Dan Caine was an Air Guard F-16 pilot over Washington with orders to shoot down a civilian airliner. He told his wingman, "Don't shoot anybody. I'll make the decision." 25 years later, General Dan Caine was convinced by the IDF Chief of Staff that the Iran War was a good idea. Dan McKnight analyzes how our country's most influential military advisor can lose his caution.

I served in Afghanistan. Cheney’s decisions sent my friends into a war that had nothing to do with 9/11. Now he’s being honored like a hero. I’m done staying quiet. Episode 1 of my new Cheney series is out. Watch it and follow Bring Our Troops Home for the truth.

250 years ago, men in Philadelphia committed treason and called it independence. 150 years later, the only president ever born on the Fourth of July stood in that same city and told us why we were still standing. We still are. The question on our 250th birthday: are we still the republic they created? Liberty is our legacy. Be worthy of it. God bless America, and happy 250th. 🇺🇸

🚨 ENDORSEMENT 🚨 This morning, Fox & Friends weekend panel unanimously endorsed the Defend the Guard Act. H.B. 229, which passed the New Hampshire House of Representatives on Thursday, would prohibit the deployment of the state’s National Guard into overseas combat without a declaration of war from Congress. Pete Hegseth, a National Guardsman and veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan, said “New Hampshire is simply pointing out that it’s supposed to be Congress that declares war. It has become an executive branch function, and as a result unless the Congress declares war, New Hampshire doesn’t have to send troops for foreign wars. To me it makes a lot of sense. I spent most of my career as a National Guardsman, deployed multiple times with the National Guard to foreign wars. We got used to the idea that state National Guard are part of expeditionary forces, which is not traditionally the use of a National Guard. And so this is New Hampshire saying we don’t trust how the federal government is going to use our troops, so we’re willing to commit them when the American people, through their elected branch in Congress, commits those troops to a foreign war, then you can. I love this idea. I’m sure the National Guard Bureau is [grumbles]. I love states exerting their influence through a system of federalism, and the idea of protecting the prerogative of—why are we sending some young guy from New Hampshire to the eastern province of Afghanistan when you have a northern border problem, or floods that happen in New Hampshire and they’re not there to provide support for that? It’s an interesting development, it’ll be interesting to see if other legislatures do this and how the military reacts to it.” Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany asked “But why are states having to tell the federal government [to] abide by the letter of the Constitution? I love it as well, but it’s an unfortunate state of affairs when the states are having to say abide by the text.” Will Cain previously endorsed our bill when he interviewed our Chairman Dan McKnight while guest hosting Tucker Carlson Tonight.

Joe Kent determined Iran posed no imminent threat to this country. The intelligence community agreed. But Jim Risch, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, refuses to hold a single public hearing on the Iran War. This isn't about left or right. It's about your oath. Joe Kent honored his.
