Witnesses and investigators believe the blaze was sparked at approximately 1:30 a.m. when a waitress, carried on a colleague's shoulders during a champagne service, held a sparkler that ignited flammable soundproofing foam and wood panels on the ceiling. The fire spread with catastrophic speed, leading to a "flashover" that caused the entire enclosed basement bar to ignite almost instantly. Singer D4vd was allegedly in an underage relationship with the 13-year-old girl whose dismembered body was found in his Tesla, sources, including the victim's brother, have claimed. The victim, Celeste Rivas, was 13 when she was reported missing in May 2024. Her brother says she vanished after D4vd, 20, picked her up for a movie in the same Tesla where her remains were later found. Her body was discovered in the car's trunk on September 8 of this year. A 2023 demo song by D4vd titled "Celeste_Demo unfin" has been unearthed with lyrics like, "Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest." The singer also allegedly reposted a TikTok about chopping up a cheating partner, which users are now linking to the dismemberment. On Wednesday, police raided D4vd's Hollywood Hills rental home, seizing evidence bags & a computer. Sources claim the alleged illicit relationship was an "open secret" at Celeste's middle school. The LAPD is investigating her death as a homicide. A transgender individual, Alexis Black, who was at the center of a viral confrontation in a Los Angeles gym's women's locker room, was previously convicted of brutally beating their ex-wife. Black, formerly known as Kyle Grant Freeman, pleaded guilty in 2022 to savagely assaulting his then-wife, Alexis Freeman. Court documents state he "caused serious physical harm" to the victim, including a compound fractured jaw that required surgery. Black was sentenced to a year in prison. Disturbingly, after transitioning, Black adopted the first name of the ex-wife he was convicted of beating. Black was recently filmed in a shouting match with singer-songwriter Tish Hyman at an EōS Fitness. Hyman accused Black of having male genitalia and harassing women in the locker room, yelling, "Men! Grown men with big d--ks in the women's locker room!" Unbelievable footage captured what some believe to be "Nessie's head popping out of the water" in the mythical monster's first reported sighting of the summer. A visitor identified as Livia captured the video on July 16 while walking at Urquhart Castle, on the shores of Loch Ness, Scotland. In the footage, a black shape is seen rising & sinking in the water, seemingly moving against the current. One spectator is heard saying, "That's something, that's not just a twig that's going in and out." Another exclaimed, "What on Earth!" Nagina Ishaq, general manager at The Loch Ness Centre, stated, "It's always exciting when a new sighting sparks fresh curiosity and conversation around the loch." She added, "Livia's video has certainly got people talking, whether it's a seal, a tree, or potentially the monster's head popping out of the water." The sighting is the first reported appearance of the monster since May. The Loch Ness Centre recently welcomed a new skipper for its research vessel, Deepscan. A 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area has been detained after his car ploughed into a crowd of Liverpool fans during their Premier League victory parade on Water Street, Liverpool, England, this evening. The shocking incident unfolded just after 6 p.m., injuring several people. Wandelt, who claims to be Madeleine, was detained moments after arriving from Wroclaw, Poland, on Tuesday evening. A friend accompanying her was also arrested. Wandelt gained attention in February 2023 after posting on Instagram under the handle '@IAmMadeleineMcCann'. She alleges recent DNA tests, analyzed by a U.S. expert, link her to the McCanns. A frantic search is underway for 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro, who was kidnapped from his mother's truck outside a store in Yucaipa, California, on Thursday. The baby’s mother, Rebecca Haro, was knocked unconscious during the attack by a stranger who she says greeted her in Spanish. When Rebecca woke up with a black eye, her son was gone. Police have launched a major manhunt, using search teams & K9 scent-tracking dogs. The family, who say they have no enemies, is pleading for his return. Rebecca said, "I'm begging you please, if you know anything, I'm begging you please bring him back,". Emmanuel's father, Jake Haro, also pleaded, "Just give us our son. Keep him safe, don’t hurt him, make sure you feed him and change him". Emmanuel is described as weighing 21 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, & a noticeable cross-eye. He was last seen wearing a black Nike onesie. 📣Maybe this is hugely unfair of me, but this doesn't feel right. The mother appears to be crying with no tears. The father reportedly said "feed and change him". Doesn't sound right to me. An Alabama educator who was named "Teacher of the Year" just months ago has been arrested and fired after a disturbing video surfaced showing her savagely beating her 12-year-old son. Randi Nicole Staples, 44, a second-grade teacher at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, was taken into custody on Wednesday. The viral footage allegedly captures Staples striking her son at least 20 times with a belt, grabbing him by the hair, and screaming profanities at him in their living room, reportedly because he failed to complete his chores. The video was leaked to the school by Staples' eldest son, Jackson, 24, who no longer lives at the home. He told reporters that he did not feel she should be working with children and alleged that she had treated him the same way throughout his life. Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch described the footage as "repulsive" and "sickening." He stated that while parents have a right to discipline their children, this incident went "way above and beyond" discipline and was clearly abuse. Staples has been charged with willful abuse of a child under 18. She pleaded not guilty and was released after posting a $7,500 bond. Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, a Colombian national, has been found guilty of murdering Alberto Alfonso, 62, & Paul Longworth, 71, & dumping their dismembered bodies in suitcases on Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, UK. Mosquera repeatedly stabbed Alberto & slit his throat during a recorded sex session on July 8 last year, just hours after allegedly bludgeoning Paul over the head with a hammer. As Alberto bled, the naked Mosquera began singing & dancing before accessing Alberto's bank account & withdrawing cash. To cover his tracks, he decapitated both men & hid their heads in a chest freezer at their Shepherd's Bush, west London, home, where he had been staying. Two days later, on July 10, Mosquera hired a man with a van who unwittingly drove him to Bristol to dump a suitcase & a trunk containing the chopped-up bodies at Clifton Suspension Bridge. The grisly deaths were discovered when the luggage was found, with a tag linking it to the Scotts Road address where police found the heads. Mosquera, who met Alberto online through webcam sex websites, initially claimed Alberto killed Paul & that he stabbed Alberto in self-defense. However, prosecutors presented evidence that Mosquera googled "Where on the head is a knock fatal?" & "How long before a corpse starts to decompose?" on the day of the murders. He also obtained Alberto's financial information days before. Mosquera had previously been in a paid sexual relationship with Alberto, & returned to the UK to stay with the couple on June 9, 2024. The trial heard Mosquera was visiting Alberto at the time of the killings. A Mass Casualty Incident was declared in Clearwater, Florida Sunday evening after the Clearwater Ferry was struck by another boat near the Memorial Causeway bridge around 8:40 p.m. The boat that hit the ferry fled the scene. Multiple injuries were reported among the 42 passengers aboard the ferry. Approximately 12 people were transported to various hospitals, with at least six described as trauma patients. Two individuals with more serious injuries were airlifted. The six passengers on the fleeing boat were reportedly uninjured. The ferry came to rest on a sandbar, & all passengers were eventually evacuated. Barclay brutally attacked Anita while she walked her dog, Bruce, on an isolated path in Brantham, Suffolk, UK, early on July 27 last year (2024). He punched her repeatedly & stamped on her face, leaving her for dead. She died four days later without regaining consciousness. Barclay also tied her dog's lead around her leg. This aligns with a previous attack on Leslie Gunfield, 82, whom Barclay viciously attacked in 2015 after being confronted for scavenging. Leslie suffered multiple fractures to his nose, eye sockets, & cheeks, & his jaw was detached; he nearly died. Barclay was jailed for 10 years for that attack but then disappeared in 2022, living "off grid" & wanted for two years for violating his parole. Prosecutors suggested Anita was killed after seeing Barclay breaking into sewage works.
