Back in 2009, Kanye West (Ye) originally wrote and produced “Find Your Love” as a reference track for Rihanna. After hearing the record, Drake reportedly wanted the song badly and asked for it. Rihanna ended up giving him the track, which went on to become one of his early breakout hits. This was quite a generous gift from Rihanna too, considering she was already one of the biggest pop stars in the industry

Kanye West (Ye) & Jay-Z almost had 'We Are Young' by Fun. on 'Watch The Throne' Producer Jeff Bhasker was working with both fun. and Jay-Z and Kanye during the Watch the Throne sessions, and he brought the song to the duo with the intention of having them record over it. (With Nate Ruess' Vocals on the track) According Co-Producer and Writer Jack Antonoff, the band was told that Jay-Z and Kanye had taken the chorus and made their own version. The song even appeared on a leaked Watch the Throne tracklist before being cut from the final album. Antonoff later revealed that Jay-Z thought the record was too pop for the project. It is rumored that Kanye recorded a verse on 'We Are Young' that was eventually reused on 'Primetime'. Here is the closest recreation of what the song may have sounded like.
