The turning while running is made with 3 animations (run forward, left, and right) IK keeps the foot in place whenever the foot is on the ground The system is very simple, it's just a lot of adjusting to make sure the IK isn't too strong, the leaning looks good, etc

Monster Hunter X Smash Bros! I recreated SSBU with Welly in Unreal Engine and put in the Hunter. I did the programming, design, animation (including copying SSBU animations), and about half the VFX. It was a lot of work, but it was fun!
