The driver and conductor assaulted her and abandoned her near Kashmere Gate. Both have been arrested. And this isn’t “just one incident.” 4,41,534 crimes against women were reported in India in 2024 - around 1,210 every day, or one every 71 seconds. Delhi’s rate was 130.7 per lakh women, nearly twice the national rate. SO STOP TELLING WOMEN TO "BE CAREFUL" When will we start demanding accountability from those responsible for keeping them safe ?

A life lost in full public view & no one winked an eyelid. The value of human life in India. Pankaj Dhama, 32, was allegedly beaten to death by 6 to 8 men at Shahdara Railway Station after an argument turned violent. Unconscious & critically injured, notice how he was dragged away from the train & left on the platform. He later died. Beyond the violence, the tragedy is that a wounded man needed urgent help but never got the care his condition demanded. This country is beyond redemption 😢
