BEHOLD THE MIGHTY PARISIENNE I’ve owned sports cars, European cars, Japanese reliables but my Holy Grail is this Parisienne. Inject this GenX promo directly into my veins…floating head 80s lady narration. Wood grain. Pure bliss. Backstory: The Pontiac Parisienne was a full-size rear-wheel drive vehicle that was sold by Pontiac on the GM B platform in Canada from 1958 to 1986 and in the United States from 1983 to 1986. For most of its life, the Parisienne was the Canadian nameplate for the top-of-the-line model sold in GM of Canada's Pontiac showrooms. At the request of US Pontiac dealerships who still wanted a full-size rear wheel drive car to replace the lost U.S. market share and gain back traditional Pontiac customers who longed for a large rear wheel drive car, the Parisienne was imported from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and sold in the United States beginning in the 1983 model year, retaining the model name "Parisienne" and specs from the Canadian original.

Yesterday we looked at an 80s Mac’s Milk, today it’s a 1983 Becker’s… Check out the Becker’s egg nog, glass bottle pop, Becker’s Ice Cream and the decor…classic 80s memories I can revive this in my mind like it was yesterday… (📼via FB- Old Toronto Series)

Group Of Seven Artist A.Y.Jackson filmed by CBC circa 1955 in Manotick, where he built his new studio home. A unique glimpse of 1955 Manotick~the road into town at Mahogany Bay, the old bridge & Watson’s Mill, the subject of Jackson’s painting. Where is that painting today? 🤔
