Just caught up with L. Louise Lucas and asked her about removing the data center sales and use tax exemption. She reiterated that her commitment to removing the exemption is as strong as steel. When asked by Shannon Heckt about unions lobbying against the idea because it will affect construction jobs, Lucas said data centers can still be built as long as they pay their fair share of taxes.
