A couple of minutes before the half and on a 2nd an 7, Zac Robinson throws a deep shot to Dez Bryant who is able to catch up to the throw and makes a diving catch in the end zone to tie the game. Another moment that resulted in an iconic photo for Oklahoma State. Dez’s stat line was 3 receptions for 77 yards with 2 TDs in this game. Not too bad! The Cowboys won the game 24-10.

OSU vs CMU in 2016 to end the game may be the worst, but this call from Bedlam 2017 reminds me that I apparently have 0 idea what a catch is. I was so pissed off in the moment when they overturned the call.

Collin Oliver rushes, falls down on the play, crawls at Caleb Williams to get the sack and put the Pokes in victory formation. Spencer Sanders fields the snap to take a knee. Game over. “Where’s that Sooner magic now?” We all remember….. 37-33 for the good guys. Late in the game, the Sooners are looking to take the lead and escape with a win. 3rd and 5 for Oklahoma and after a low snap- Caleb Williams is scrambling, but cannot escape Devin Harper’s angle and is taken down for a 5 yard loss. A critical 4th and 10 follows and Williams goes to scrambling again. He dodges a diving tackle by Harper and ends up having a wide open lane for the first down. Harper makes the ULTIMATE hustle play by not giving up, getting right back up and chasing Williams down 5 yards short of the marker with a diving ankle tackle. Incredible work by Harper on these 2 plays! As we all know- the Cowboys won 37-33, running Lincoln Riley out of Norman the very next day.
