🧸 when we first debuted, the company really wanted to push a "prince" image for us. because of that, they wouldn't let me do things like aegyo when we went on variety shows. 🧸 even though i just wanted to give hearts or do a little aegyo for our fans, they intentionally made us avoid those things. 🧸 i couldn't even make heart gestures. the company banned it, so one time i went on a show and i did some aegyo right before the show ended without them knowing 🧸 but i got caught doing that. the company found out and i actually got in trouble for it 🧸 if i tried too hard to be funny or cute, they would just edit all of it out of the broadcast. i really hated to see us getting a reputation as "boring" group right from the start 🧸 because of that, there was this live streaming platform we used at the time. we all just said “hey, this is live, so the company can't stop us" 🧸 and we decided to just do whatever we wanted, and from that point on, it wasn't really that the company changed their minds, it was more like they just gave up on us.

bts jin mentioned txt! 🧑🏻 boynextdoor are coming on next week. do you know them? 🐹 i recognize their faces 🧑🏻 which junior group are you close with? 🐹 i’m only close with txt, and they seriously get on my nerves (joking) 🐹 Yeonjun would suddenly send me lip pictures and go “jjunie wants to kiss Jin hyung” 🧑🏻 oh really?… that is kind of too much… (joking) 🐹 right? it’s kind of annoying (joking) 🐹 i think i understand how you feel now. like, “when i act annoying, you must’ve felt like this” 🧑🏻 no, but at least you didn’t send lip pictures 🐹 and beomgyu would be like, “hyung, i’m coming back from the us in october, and i’ll just go straight to your place” 🐹 it’s not even asking, it’s just a notice. “i’m coming over” 🧑🏻 they must be closer to you than i am, right?

🦊i’m at my grandma’s house right now with my mom, grandma, uncle, aunt, and younger cousin. we're all hanging out, and they just celebrated my birthday with an ice cream cake. 🦊everyone else is in the living room, and i’m in one of the bedrooms. 🦊 since my debut, this is really the first time... how should i put it? even back when i was a trainee, i wasn’t really able to celebrate my birthday at home. it's been a long time since i celebrated my birthday at home, so it's been about 10 years since i celebrated my birthday surrounded by my family like this and ate my mom's seaweed soup.

🐰 do you remember that time? i think it was around when we were about to debut. we were practicing late at night, from like 9 pm until 3 am and we kept hearing strange noises outside. back then even as trainees, we already had some fans who liked us, so people would sneak around, open the door a little, and peek in. 🐰 but since we weren’t supposed to be revealed yet, we thought, “what is that? did fan come in again?” and if we went out, it might cause problem, so our dance teacher went out to check. then the teacher suddenly came back in saying, “omg, what was that, what was that?” looking scared we asked, “why? what happened?” and they said it was too scary so we went to check. 🐰 on the stairs, there were albums of another artist, and each one had an x mark on it, placed step by step along the staircase. 🐱it looked like some kind of curse ritual or something. 🐰when we saw it, we got chills right away. but we were so scared we couldn’t even think to clean it up, so we all just went back inside, completely shaken like “what do we do now?” what did we end up doing? i don’t even remember. 🐰that’s as much as i can recall. i just remember the chills from back then. it was right when we were about to be revealed, too. it was really scary. 🐰the albums were placed neatly on each stair, one by one, all with x marks on them. there were a lot of scary moments like that.

arin mentioned soobin! 🐥 it’s been quite a while since i last talked to soobin. i’ve stayed in touch with the writers and the director here and there recently, but soobin is just so busy 🐥 but isn't that how it is with close family? you don't have to stay in constant contact to know they’re doing okay. so i just figure he’s busy and doing great!

long way long ride’s lyrics🥹 “long way, long ride with you, you can lean on me you can lean on me long way, long ride with you, it's okay to do that long way, long ride with you, you can take a break long way, long ride with you, always by your side lately we've been different you can finally let it all out now (from your prison) let's cry our eyes out and hurt as much as we need to right now that's how we face ourselves holding tightly onto the steps toward your dreams you still shine tonight, morning always comes anyway don't force yourself to be strong, you'll be okay when this goes, let's leave together for the next long ride”

popular pop culture critic kim heon sik talked abt ggum figurine plagiarism issue! 👤some of you might not know what this is. those are actually figures of k-pop idols. and they copied from someone else’s work (ggum) and reproduced. 👤this is the kind of thing that ruins our kpop industry. 👤*reading moas comments / tweets* this is real. this is the reality. fans actually get hurt a lot too. 👤 there are so many unfair things are happening. and just because fans love the artist, they’re afraid to speak up worrying it might cause harm. but we also need to call out the system that deliberately keeps us silent
