The canon you quote, the Scriptures you argue with, were preserved, compiled, and handed down by the Catholic Church. Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas, even the roots of what you now call Halloween, all trace back to Catholic history and tradition. You don’t get to celebrate Easter whenever you like. The date is fixed by rules established by the Church. Without that authority, there is no universal Easter. The Gregorian calendar you use today, yes, the one that orders your days, months, and years, exists because of Pope Gregory XIII, acting through the Catholic Church you love to insult. This priest here is obviously speaking Latin, which is the language of the Catholic Church. I can't speak Latin. So I won't be able to respond to what the priest is saying on my own without looking at my Missal. But I can follow along and respond in English because I know exactly what he is saying. This is the beauty the Catholic Church has that no denomination on earth has. The church is one and true.
