Today, our IDBI Bank unit met with shree Rahul Gandhi ji to discuss our concerns regarding the privatization of IDBI Bank. We strongly opposed this move, emphasizing that it goes against the assurances given by the NDA government in 2003. We highlighted how IDBI Bank has been a profit-making institution and how its privatization would adversely impact employees, customers, and the broader economy. Privatization of public sector banks benefits only a selected few while compromising financial security for the common people.
