In a recent interview with the Burundian YouTube channel Main Switch 257, (his own property ), Bizimana dismissed the #FDLR threat as a mere Rwandan “pretext,” claiming there has been no recorded attack by the group on Rwandan territory since its creation. 🪭This claim collapses under the weight of the documented record. Independent sources, including United Nations expert reports and Human Rights Watch, along with Rwanda’s own accounts, have recorded more than 20 cross-border attacks by the FDLR and associated forces since the late 1990s. 🪭These attacks have claimed civilian lives especially in Musanze district including the form Musanze district's own child and fueled insecurity.
