For the second time, Ursa Major has successfully fired our 10” solid rocket motor with highly loaded grain showing repeatable results with rapid iteration, as seen in the motor start up. On the topic, Bill Murray, Vice President of Product and Engineering for Solid Missiles Systems said, “At Ursa Major, we demand rigor, quality, and repeatable results. While we embrace the learning that comes from testing and iteration, our ultimate goal is nothing short of perfection. In just months, we've scaled and successfully static fired our highly loaded grain solid rocket motors from 2.75” to 5” to 7” and now to 10”. This is in addition to our four successful SRM flight tests. This rapid progression exemplifies Lynx: the future of American solid rocket motor manufacturing. By strategically deploying additive manufacturing and advanced propellant technologies, we achieve in months what traditionally takes years.
