Toto has said, "ALL Mercedes engines had a software issue from the start onwards." Antonelli LIFTS his throttle, still gets to 318 kph right after. Piastri reaches 337 kph, Norris reaches 344 kph. meanwhile - Russell's speed is CAPPED at >308 kph< for nearly 4 WHOLE SECONDS.

Marcus Dudley is NOT fulfilling the basic roles of a Race Engineer, and Austria FP1 only highlighted it. His only response when Russell radioed for setup suggestions was, “𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 … 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙤 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨,” and IMMEDIATELY moved on to count down from 7 to 1. (left vid) Compare this with Bono in the same session. He NEVER informs Russell about a specific corner that could be hindering his pace compared to his teammate; the best he does is offer a single lap time. His teammate, on the other hand, is guided through every opportunity. There are multiple instances within any single session in F1 where Dudley prioritizes counting from 5 to 1 backwards OVER answering his driver’s question. Why he is so fixated on counting every number, I do not understand. His primary role is in communication - REPLYING TO QUESTIONS surely must be of utmost priority.
