Yesterday, I visited Bapco, a Bahraini refinery — one of the largest in the Middle East. In the first days of the conflict, Iran deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure to inflict mass casualties. They even attacked fire suppression systems and first responder control systems. Just imagine what Iran would do with a nuclear weapon. Thankful to our Gulf partners who are standing strong with us at the UN to end Iran’s ruthless attacks on its neighbors.

The path is clear: Hizballah stops attacking Israel. The Lebanese Armed Forces and the legitimate Government of Lebanon assert control over Lebanese territory. And Iran stops using Lebanon as a forward operating base. And the Lebanese people, who have suffered for far too long, finally get a chance to rebuild a country that belongs to them—not Hizballah, not its thug leadership, and certainly not to Tehran.

Strait of Hormuz Strait of Malacca Strait of Bab el-Mandeb Strait of Gibraltar Bosporus Strait Lombok Strait Sunda Strait Bering Strait Strait of Mozambique Luzon Strait Korea Strait No country gets to hold the world hostage for leverage just because they happen to sit next to a Strait. Not Iran. Not anyone.

The Cuban regime must make immediate economic and political reforms. We are asking very simple things: -Open the economy, -Free political prisoners, -Stop treating private citizens as a threat, and -Stop blaming America for the misery produced by Havana and its failed policies.

Despite Iran’s claims, the Strait of Hormuz is NOT Iran’s to wield like its own moat and drawbridge. It is NOT a hostage, NOT a bargaining chip, NOT a toll road. Critical waterways are too vital to be obstructed. Now is the time to act—together—to defend freedom of navigation and the global economy.

We are “DOGE-ing” the United Nations. - cutting 2,600 UN bureaucrats - slashing the budget by 15% in year one - 25% cut to peacekeepers It’s time for the UN to get back to basics: stopping wars and preventing conflict, NOT funding bloated bureaucracy on the American taxpayer's dime.

The entire world has witnessed the Iranian regime’s wholesale slaughter of innocent civilians. Its presence in the Security Council makes a mockery of the body. But where the UN lacks moral clarity, President Trump and the United States of America will maintain it.

President Trump said he wanted a smaller, more focused UN, and he’s getting one. Decisive American leadership drove today’s UN budget adoption—$570M in savings and nearly 2,900 bureaucratic posts cut! The UN hasn't seen reform like this in 30 years. Real change that saves U.S. taxpayer dollars and helps shape a leaner, more effective UN truer to its core mandates. More to follow! Ambassador Tammy Bruce Ambassador Jeff Bartos

47 years ago, the Iranian regime took Americans hostage as its opening act. Now, seeking to hold on to its illegal nuclear program, it is taking the world economy hostage. Russia and China’s opposition to freedom of navigation of the Strait is a new low, and shields the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.

75 years ago today, the world adopted a new standard for human dignity: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This foundational documents still guides our work. No country has a perfect human rights record, and the United States is no exception. But in open and democratic societies, people can and do push for change to drive progress forward. #humanrights75 #Act4RightsNow

President Trump—who cares deeply about Lebanon personally—has proposed a clear sequence to end the conflict: Hizballah, which started the fighting, must stop its attacks in Israel. This will create space for gradual de-escalation and, ultimately, a cessation of hostilities. Hizballah has repeatedly rejected this offer.
