💥 UAF Unmanned Systems Hit One of Russia’s Largest Oil Refineries On the night of September 14, operators of the 14th Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces (14th UAS Regiment / 1st Separate UAS Center) , together with Special Operations Forces units, carried out a successful strike on Russia’s second-largest oil refinery – “Kirishi Oil Refinery” in Leningrad Oblast. This #DeepStrike was conducted over 800 km from Ukraine’s state border. The Kirishi Oil Refinery is the main supplier of petroleum products for St. Petersburg, as well as Leningrad, Novgorod, and Pskov oblasts. Its processing capacity exceeds 20 million tons of oil per year, making it the second-largest refinery in the country after the Omsk refinery. The plant produces about 80 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and jet fuel, and is directly involved in supplying the Russian army with fuel. As a result of the drone strike, a large fire broke out at the facility, confirmed by NASA FIRMS satellite monitoring data. Battle damage assessment is ongoing.
