What was really killing Viserys? From episode 1, House of the Dragon shows us that Viserys is already suffering from a strange illness. The Iron Throne cuts him, and the wound simply refuses to heal Many people called it a form of leprosy. But if it was leprosy, it was a very strange one. Alicent was his wife. They had children. Rhaenyra was close to him, hugged him, touched him. And no one around Viserys got sick Or maybe the theory is right: the Iron Throne never accepted Viserys

Syrax, Seasmoke, and Caraxes jumping Sheepstealer was the dumbest tactical move Team Black could have made. You don't corner a completely wild, feral dragon and expect it to just fold. They're lucky any of them made it out of that clearing alive. Rhaena abandoning Sheepstealer, now it is hard to believe she will ever gain any control. Disappointing 😔 and just not the smartest strategy IMO 🐉💥 #HOTD

Viserys announces that he will marry Alicent. And for me, this is where the Dance of the Dragons truly begins. Instead of uniting two old Valyrian houses, he creates a rival line inside his own family His children will die His grandchildren will die His brother Daemon and Princess Rhaenys will die Dragons will die People will die The main guilty people are right here in this room: Viserys Targaryen, Otto Hightower and Alicent Hightower
