🚨Pep Guardiola on if Rayan Cherki is allowed to showboat against Chelsea: 🗣️Pep: "Listen... Rayan is a special, special player. He is little bit of a free soul. I am a manager who likes control, we know this. So sometimes, on the touchline, it is so, so tough to watch. My heart... pff. He gets the ball, he starts the tricks, and my instinct is to shout, 'Rayan, please, play simple!' But if I tell him against Chelsea, 'Stop this,' I destroy the player. I take away his incredible quality. What he did against Arsenal, against Liverpool… exceptional. Unbelievable..” “So against Chelsea, I want to see it again. If he feels it, he does it. Go out, express yourself, have fun, and show the world how good you are. We will respect the opponent but at the same time, I don’t want to take away what makes Rayan special. He's one of the most unbelievably talented players I've EVER seen.” #CHEMCI

🚨 Pep Guardiola on Rayan Cherki showboating against Arsenal & Liverpool: 🗣️Pep: “I love him as a player, honestly — the talent is incredible. But sometimes I watch him against Arsenal and Liverpool and I think… ‘Rayan, why are you trying to give me a heart attack?(laughs)”😂 “Football is not a circus, my friend. You can do magic, yes, but maybe not every five seconds. These opponents, they don’t enjoy the show like the fans — they want to kick you!” “I told him, ‘Relax a little, respect the opponent… and also respect my nerves on the bench!’” “He’s special, no doubt. But sometimes the best skill is knowing when not to show all your skills.”

🚨 Luis Enrique on Kylian Mbappé: 🗣️ Enrique: “I had many conversations with him at Paris Saint-Germain. I told him that being a great player is not just about scoring goals — it’s about defending, sacrificing, and setting the example for the rest of the team. A true leader runs first, presses first, and works harder than anyone else.” “I tried to make him understand that even as a forward, defending is part of your responsibility in modern football. But he didn’t listen. He always wanted to do things on his own terms, his own way.” “You cannot lead a team if you don’t serve the team. Leadership is not power — it’s responsibility.” “And football, in the end, always tells the truth… After he left, the group became stronger, more united, more committed. We finally won the UEFA Champions League — the trophy the club had been chasing for so many years.” “No player is bigger than the collective.”

🚨 Kylian Mbappé on the “dictator” meme circulating online: 🗣️ Mbappé: “They can create whatever image they want of me; it doesn’t change who I am or what I do on the pitch. Memes don’t win matches, performances do. I’m here to work, to help my team, and to improve every day.” “People will always talk; when you score, when you don’t, when you lead, when you stay quiet. That’s football, that’s life at the top. But I don’t build my career on opinions or jokes on the internet. I build it on discipline, consistency, and respect for the game.” “I won’t be distracted by the noise. Call me whatever you want—leader, villain, ‘dictator’—it doesn’t matter. What matters is responsibility. I take mine seriously, and I will always stand by my decisions.” “My game evolved? Without a doubt. When I started, I mainly thought about expressing myself, about making a difference. In the end, the truth is on the pitch, not on social media.”

🚨Peter Schmeichel: “To wear the goalkeeper's shirt at Manchester United, you need more than just good reflexes; you need a titanium mentality. Senne Lammens has been bloody brilliant for this football club. Whoever scouted this boy deserves a massive pay raise right away, because they haven't just found a goalkeeper—they've found the anchor of our defense. It is genuinely the first time since David de Gea was at his absolute peak that I have felt entirely at peace watching our goal. Let's be brutally honest with ourselves: under that kind of relentless pressure against Everton, if Andre Onana had been between the sticks, we would have easily conceded TEN. But Lammens stood there like a giant. He didn't just save the ball; he saved the dignity and the belief of the entire team."
