![$RKLB Jim Cramer on Rocket Lab: "I'm not a big fan of Rocket Lab." "I think Rocket Lab is too speculative, and I think that maybe you should follow the CEO [in selling the stock]." What a disingenuous take. I usually don't mind Cramer, but acting like the CEO simply dumped his stock without mentioning how much he sold or putting it into context is just ridiculous.](https://image.24vids.com/tw-2092110331984388578/amplify_video_thumb/2092109308863672320/img/w3R_qIKHBl540HIm.jpg)

$FLY CEO Jason Kim on $RKLB comparison: "Rocket Labs is a fair comp for the hardware and launch side, but we're more than that. We're a mission company. And not only are we launching, landing, operating, but we've got all the AI software, the applications that we're developing that gets deployed to the ground servers as well as edge processing on orbit." Not sure I'd completely agree with that ;)

$RKLB Good to hear Rocket Lab CEO Peter Beck spell out what most of us already understood, but some "investors" still can't grasp. "Rocket Lab as a business is fundamentally better in every single metric. But yet the stock price went down. And that's just a complete macro environment thing that you can't really control. So I think the environment is pretty piping hot right now."

$RKLB h/t Mrs. Iglesias The Iridium acquisition is still seriously underestimated. Rocket Lab CFO Adam Spice explains: "Iridium completely reshapes the financial profile of the business. And I don't think that investors have really, really clued into that quite yet. I don't think they quite understand the leverage that business is going to bring to us." "The biggest strategic thing that Iridium brings for us is the ability to kind of spring into lots of other applications and opportunities" 👀 Please check out the full interview linked below! It's a great one :)

$RKLB Take notes, Blue Origin: "When we deploy a satellite into orbit, I think most people would think that our job is done, yes, and we all just go home. But everybody's hanging off, waiting for the customer to tell us, we've had a successful contact of our spacecraft. You know, it's not our part of the mission, but we just want that mission to be successful so badly that, you know, I don't think anybody in mission control has, a sigh of relief until our customer comes back to us and says, yep, we've made contact with our spacecraft. And the whole thing is successful for everybody. It really sucks when our customer forgets to tell us because there's like 100 people sitting back here going, did the customer make contact or not? Even though our mission is over." — Sir Peter Beck, Rocket Lab CEO

$RKLB New interview with Sir Peter Beck on Fox Business: "The applications you do in space are about $320 billion today. And this is what the acquisition of Iridium exposes itself to, it's that $320 billion TAM." "The space industry is undergoing a huge amount of growth. Rocket Lab is extremely well positioned to capitalize on those new TAMs and expanding TAMs."

$RKLB Rocket Lab CEO Sir Peter Beck on current space stock valuations: "There's some valuations that are completely untethered to reality. But I think with respect to us, right now there are two companies on this planet that have successfully scaled launch to any level of frequency and reliability. That's SpaceX and us. Access to orbit on a regular and reliable basis is rare, it's like extremely extremely rare" "And anything that's rare attracts a certain value." I couldn't agree more with SPB, but I'd like to expand a bit on that point. Of course, scarcity alone does not create value. In my view, the formula is always: Value = Utility × Scarcity × Demand If what a company produces isn't scarce, there's no pricing power because competitors can offer the same thing. If what a company creates lacks demand, you may own a rare, functional masterpiece, but without buyers, it's worthless. If a product doesn't have utility, people simply won't use it. The product might spark temporary hype, but without utility, scarcity and demand can only create fleeting excitement. Rocket Lab's launch business has all three, imo.

$RKLB New Peter Beck interview today on Bloomberg: Does SpaceX's dominance threaten Rocket Lab? "No, I don't think so. The reality is SpaceX is a space company, but also very much an AI company and a bunch of other things as well. Rocket Lab is a very squarely focused pure play space company. I think it draws investors into the sector. And when they go looking, Rocket Lab is really the clear number two with respect to launch frequency and those kinds of things. So no, I'm not too worried about that.” "So do you find yourself complementary to SpaceX? Or are you in direct competition with Elon Musk?" "In some cases we are in direct competition, but also very complementary. We are an end-to-end space company. We're the second most frequently launched US rocket in the world behind SpaceX, so the rocket bit is competitive. But two-thirds of our business is building satellites and spacecraft and supplying components to the rest of the space industry. So in that sense, not really a competitor at all."

![What's gonna happen to space stocks when SpaceX IPOs? "It's going to start to separate the real space companies from the ones that have just kind of labeled themselves as space companies [...] And I think what's going to happen is the good companies are going to get dragged up by SpaceX. And I think the less quality names are going to get basically put into obscurity. And so you're going to have a world of haves and have nots, I think, which is going to make investors' lives more challenging. They have to do more work. And I think they're going have to be much more discriminating because what I've seen is a complete or almost complete lack of any discrimination amongst investors across the names that have currently been in space." — Adam Spice, CFO of $RKLB](https://image.24vids.com/tw-2053317300573651308/amplify_video_thumb/2053316648648818688/img/bnk-yFRIzaBN3bQv.jpg)

$RKLB Rocket Lab CEO Peter Beck on the mindset behind competing with SpaceX and Blue Origin: "My two competitors in this industry are Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. So I'm not going to outspend those people. We have to out-innovate them. That's the only way that we can be successful. And that's why we've been successful to date." "If you stand still, you just get run over. You have to be on the steamroller, not in front of the steamroller." Brilliant CEO.

$RKLB The newly confirmed NASA Chief, Jared Isaacman, mentioned Rocket Lab twice today on Bloomberg: "We're grateful for those that go in commercial industry, whether it's, again, Blue Origin, SpaceX, Rocket Lab" "It is an incredible field of commercial space companies that exist today. I mean, you can talk about Stoke and ULA and Rocket Lab and Firefly." I think it's fair to say Isaacman is set to usher in a new era for commercial space companies and I believe Rocket Lab is best positioned to benefit from it.

$RKLB Neutron will be the largest carbon fiber structure to ever fly once it's completed. Some critics say it's not realistic because it would be the first carbon fiber structure of that size to fly, but I'd argue Rocket Lab is pretty good at firsts: "We were the first to 3D print a rocket engine and put it into orbit. We were the first to do an all carbon composite rocket and put it into orbit. We were the first to do all fiber optically networked avionics suite on a launch vehicle and put it into orbit." — Sir Peter Beck, Rocket Lab CEO

Good point for anyone considering selling $RKLB or other stocks to buy the SpaceX IPO. "If you're smart, you're doing the calculation. What's my gain going to be in SpaceX now versus the taxes I'm going to have to pay from liquidating a position?" Never forget the taxman ;)
