I came across this startup that uses waste products to create something called ecotiles. Why can’t we do this in a state like Lagos, for instance, that reportedly generates 13,000 metric tonnes of waste DAILY? This would: 1. Reduce dependency on imported building materials 2. Reduce cost of construction 3. Employ local labor and skill set 4. Create globally exportable building materials from our local labor market 5. Find a better use for the enormous amount of waste generated daily which constitutes nuisance in our environment
