Was mMn kaum beachtet wird und hier sehr gut zu sehen ist, bei der ersten Elfmeterszene: Luis Díaz kommt im Vollsprint aus dem Rückraum angeschossen. Als die Szene beginnt, ist er noch gar nicht im Bild. Er ist gefühlt 15km/h schneller als Akpoguma in der Szene. Das bisschen Halten von Luis Díaz macht bei der Differenz keinen Unterschied mehr. Dass ihn Akpoguma umreißt, dann aber schon. Damit ist das ein Elfmeter und Rot ist auch vertretbar, weil er den Ball ansonsten zu Kane rüberlegt, der ein leeres Tor vor sich hat. Man darf solche Szenen nicht immer nur anhand von Screenshots und Slomos beurteilen, weil diese Bilder voraussetzen, dass beide dieselbe Geschwindigkeit hatten, was hier nicht mal ansatzweise der Fall war. Akpoguma hatte in dem Zweikampf nicht den Hauch einer Chance und die einzige Möglichkeit, Luis Díaz zu stoppen war, indem er ihn foult.

It’s certainly interesting to see how differently goal music is perceived abroad. Over here in Germany, it’s a deep part of the clubs’ culture. Bayern already played the Can-can at the Olympiastadion back in the 90s. So did Dortmund with their goal song "Olé, jetzt kommt der BVB". Generations of football fans go to the stadium every weekend and can’t wait to vibe to their goal song after their team scored. Maybe it still needs some time in England to get used to.

Super snowy Saturday in Munich ahead of #FCBFCU. Tram tracks are covered in snow, avg. possible speed on the Autobahn around 50 km/h, so far approximately 15-20 cm fresh snow and it‘ll still be snowing throughout the night. Curious how it‘ll look tomorrow. Take care! #FCBayern
