Due to the same reasons, Zangief smk now has less range than Akuma fmk. Zangief is supposed to be slow, with good range on his slow buttons. But he now gets outranged by characters with all round toolsets.

Zangief can no longer throw after fhp on block(too far away) and he can no longer do point blank clk clk clp on block in to fmk. Im guessing due to him being pushed a little further out due to his hurtbox. Comparison video new patch and previous patch.
