I find it odd that Itachi was able to slaughter his entire clan without sustaining any physical injuries. The Uchiha was Konoha's strongest clan. Itachi may have been gifted but there's no way he should have been able to slay his kinsmen so easily. He didn't even need to use any justu. It were as though he was fighting civilians.

Gekko Hayate Vs Baki. As the protocor for the chunin exams, Hayate was always coughing and looked frail but beneath that seemingly weak exterior, mad skills laid beneath. Had he aimed his final strike at Baki's neck and not his shoulder, he would have won the fight.
