There is nothing more painful for the Muslim world than witnessing the loss of a cherished & uncompromised religious & political leader like Ayatollah Khemenai. May Almighty Allah accept his martyrdom. His loss is such a big setback to the Muslim world 💔 #Khamenei #Iranian

And the servant of God, DR ALI LARIJANI, has joined the ranks of Imam Hussain & returned to God as a martyr on the blessed night of "Sahb-e-Qadr" after a life of serving Islam and his people. The philosopher, the mathematician, the parliamentarian, the fighter and finally the proud Marty. He lived like a lion, brave & unshaken & full of dignity, when there were storms all around. Oh dear Muslim world, you are being torn apart & orphaned. The noblest & best of the men, our protectors in every field, are leaving us behind. Irreplaceable loss. Agony, mere agony! 💔.

Today, the Reservation bill was put to a vote & all NC MLAs chose to vote against it, crushing the remaining hopes of students of Kashmir. And look at the attitude & feel the words of Omar Abdullah; "Let him press the bill, we will vote against it. We don't have an issue."

Look at the arrogance of the architects of 4 April, 1979. On the same day, 47 years ago, the same arrogance burt Quran, threw it in toilets, burnt hundreds of libraries & houses of people of Kashmir. And today, on the floor of the house, the same arrogance is tagging an MLA (Waheed Ur Rehman Para) as Militant. What a dangerous precedent she is setting & what a dreadful lot of people sitting & happily cheering their leader who just wants to convey that more than 2 lakh people in the Parliament elections & 28,000 in assembly elections from Pulwama voted for a Militant. This is how the NC treats the youth of Kashmir, even if he is an MLA. It is their long-used modus operandi to choke the voice they fear. Now, Imagine what they will be telling Delhi about the youth of Kashmir. NC is literally the biggest threat to the youth of Kashmir. May God save us.

It has been a pleasure studying economics for UPSC under Tehleel Sir’s mentorship. Beyond the classroom, I have always cherished the deep discussions on philosophical issues with him & this video brings those moments back. In this video, he unpacks the profound philosophy of Rizq & reveals how modern capitalist doctrine fuels our collective fear about livelihood. What we call Youth anxiety about the future is actually a spiritual symptom of flawed economic doctrine based on capitalist model. The solution isn't compitition but to correct our lens & reclaim the understanding of Rizq. This is a must-watch for youth who feel they have lost all agency & see survival as impossible.

It is heartbreaking to see Kashmiri's being attacked, harassed & abused for the crimes they didn't commit. This targeted hate against a particular region & religion only allinates the people, cultivates hatred & fulfills the agenda of the enemy. Kashmiri's, please prioritize your safety. Stay alert, be cautious, and try to stick together in groups when possible. Avoid engaging with individuals or mobs on any critical issue, and don't let provocations get to you. #Kashmir #Pahalgam #pahalgamattack #PahalgamTerrorAttack

Nothing has hit my mental health harder than seeing people, especially women, struggling for bread on the streets & facing indignity everyday. In my motherland, just a decade ago, women's status was so honoured that it was unthinkable they would ever need to step into the market out of financial desperation but today, we have reached so low that they are left with an unbearable choice: Come out & work or die, unnoticed & unmourned. When the govt should be providing a helping hand by creating the start-ups for dignified livelihood, they are destroying the very little avenues the poor create for themselves to survive in these toughest times. When will Omar's NC wake up from their ivory towers & understand the crushing struggles that people face everyday? The common people are bleeding, women are crying & there is no relief at the bottom - the group that deserves it the most.

This scene of a poor man’s helplessness is heart-wrenching. A sacred obligation like Hajj has become unaffordable for the poor. They are left only to dream of fulfilling it, while the rich make multiple trips in luxury. For 45 years, he has been visiting the airport just to request "Hujaaz" to pray for him. For 45 years, he has waited for a call from Allah, but the modern capitalist world has snatched his dream. When there is reservation in every sector, why can’t there be a reservation in the Hajj quota for the poor? There should be a fixed percentage of seats reserved only for the underprivileged, with a free or minimum-cost package. The discontinuation of the Hajj subsidy must be revived, especially for a Muslim-majority region like Kashmir, where economic hardship runs deep. The state government should take the initiative to design a special scheme to support underprivileged pilgrims.

During the inaugural night match of RPL in Pulwama, it was a burst of emotions in eyes & happiness on the face of Waheed Ur Rehman Para on seeing a rare glimpse of joy & sense of personal freedom being experienced by our youth which was unknown to them for a long time. For years, the youth of Kashmir has endured the heaviest burdens. Public spaces were not only silenced, they literally didn't exist. Fear ruled the streets & people would walk miles away if they sense crowd. The traumatic episode of Feb 2019 had made even gathering as a small group felt impossible. People of Kashmir had become hopeless, almost abandoned all their dreams and had accepted their fate of being caught in silence and fear, their lives itself had become a dark prison, dreaming of night life was even out of the question. But that day, the South Kashmir witnessed nightlife as a Community not dictated by fear but happiness and a spirit willing to taste personal freedom. The smiles, the cheers, the togetherness & hope, it was so overwhelming. People were roaming freely, living a moment that once felt impossible. For the first time in our memory, the youth of Kashmir in large numbers experienced a night filled with light, laughter, hope and life and not routine dread of night where young people venturing out made families extremely nervous. That one night when nearly 30,000 people came together to witness the togetherness, many couldn’t hold back their emotions. The fear of uncertainty, surveillance, violence which consumed our psychological well being appeared easing a bit. 30 thousand people coming together, enjoying till late night, going home peacefully and not being seen as "security threat" is unprecedented in recent history of Kashmir. Such an event is indeed emerging as a baby step toward bridging the trust deficit. That night wasn’t just about cricket. It was about hope, hope of possibility of togetherness & normal community life, a hope of life free of fear and excessive surveillance. It was about showing that even after everything, our hope, spirit & resilience is unbroken.

When we in Kashmir talk about Rationalisation of Reservation, what we actually want to say is beautifully articulated by Waheed Ur Rehman Para in this clip. After years of silence, the first voice that unanimously came out of Kashmir was about RESERVATION. When we spoke of rationalisation, we were not asking for privilege or ridiculing or tickling reservation, we were demanding the right share that Kashmir deserves. We are fighting for empowerment. In a region where government jobs remain one of the few paths to economic mobility and representation in govt offices, exclusion is not just a policy issue, it is political disempowerment. It's a question of existential issue staring at Kashmiris. The call for rationalisation of reservation started from the Valley itself, because the data that was coming out had exposed the truth that Kashmiris were being systematically kept away from all the institutions. Kashmiris, already marginalised under the security prism, see merit as their only recourse for a better future, even talent and years of hard work is failing to open doors due to skewed Reservation policy. Fair representation based on population is not a favour we are demanding, it is our Constitutional right. And until Kashmiris are given their rightful place in their own land, every promise of peace, progress, and opportunity will remain hollow. #Reservation #SaveOM

Today, these young souls visited Waheed Ur Rehman Para's residence with heavy hearts & little hope. The RESERVATION ISSUE has made them restless as they see no future for themselves. Their faces were speaking volumes. Instead of chasing their dreams in colleges & libraries, they have been left with no options by the NC led Govt but to knock on doors of those they see as a ray of hope, pleading for a future that has been brutally ripped away from them. These brilliant minds deserve to rise, not be reduced to begging for what is rightfully theirs. It is gut-wrenching to see their potential hijacked by uncertainty. They should be exploring, learning, and growing and satisfying their curiosity, and not fighting for a chance to exist, for basic survival.

Kashmir isn't merely a geographical or political concept but an emotion that resonates deeply with those who live here. In its heart lies the most pious humans of the world who sacrificed everything for it. If we fail to respect & protect its sanctity, we won't be spared. May Almighty Allah forgive the odds of Aga Syed Baqir & accept all good deeds. Indeed, the loss of a scholar is an irreplaceable loss for the community.

Honorable CM Omar Abdullah's press conference today was not only disheartening but an outright misrepresentation of the discussions that happened between him & the student delegation on the issue of RESERVATION. By diverting the focus towards jobs & land rights, which are fundamentally the government's responsibilities, he is attempting to sabotage & dilute the core demands surrounding reservations. This is a clear attempt to mislead the youth and deflect accountability. Let us remind the students, stakeholders, and people of J&K of the actual points discussed during the meeting on the day of protest: 1. Resolution of the reservation issue within six months from the date of formation of sub committee 2. Immediate action on actionable items within 15 days. 3. A slowdown of recruitment policies until the reservation issue is resolved. 4. Publication of the minutes of the meeting for transparency & accountability. The CM’s failure to honor these commitments reflects a disregard for the promises made. This misrepresentation will not go unnoticed, and we urge everyone to hold the government accountable for its own commitments. #Reservation #saveopenmerit

HCM Omar Abdullah is compromising the dignity of the J&K state - which once was strong enough that if the PM of the country had to visit J&K, Visa was necessary - by going out of his way to please & bow to the BJP-led centre. He himself is disempowering the "The chair of the CM of J&K" Has Mr. Omar Abdullah forgot the way NC managed a campaign in which they presented BJP as the biggest possible threat for J&K? Now, within 3 months, what has changed in J&K that NC started singing a different tune, praising the BJP & being totally subservient to the centre? Mobilizing people on radical grounds during elections to gain power, only to completely abandon those grounds, leads to widespread disillusionment with the democratic process itself. It often leads to the feeling of betrayal among masses which eventually makes people reactionary. Elections are not a farce. The will of the people is not a joke. Democracy should not leave people feeling resentful as if they’ve been conned by the electoral process. Our politicians need to understand that repeatedly betraying public sentiment not only erodes trust but also alienates people from democratic participation.l The National Conference (NC) has mastered the art of promoting the rhetoric of Kashmiri dignity & autonomy, using religious & cultural identity to emotionally charge the people & win elections, only to betray those very sentiments at critical moments. Time and again, they have positioned themselves as the defenders of Kashmir’s rights, only to compromise when it suits their power calculus. This pattern of emotional exploitation, followed by betrayal, not only makes the NC's collaboration with the Centre the cheapest & most insincere in Kashmir’s political history but also makes people feel that democratic process is not a solution. History has been repeating itself too often in Kashmir when it comes to ruling parties.
