#100daysofpractice Season 6, day 35. When your seven-year-old picks up a baton while you’re drilling Bach patterns and says, “Let me conduct you!”, of course you say yes, and you follow their dynamics. It’s a good exercise in flexibility! And very cute.

#100daysofpractice Season 7, day 6 Actual footage of a parent who didn’t practice all day, took an accidental 2 hour nap at 8:30 pm, and is trying to wake up and get the muscles moving but is too dazed to figure out what to work on at 11:30 pm with neighbors. 🙋🏻‍♀️ if you relate.

#100daysofpractice Season 6, day 44. Did a lot of cross training today, listening to Bach organ fugues and thinking about form. I kept practice low exertion, but I experimented with the concepts of holding space, sarabande, and structure vs freedom (notes made up in the moment).
