Why did the intelligence assessment change? That is the big question that needs to be answered regarding Russiagate. Two days before the 2016 election, a memo from the intelligence community made NO reference to Putin "aspiring" for Trump to win the election. In fact, it found Putin did not care who won. Fast forward to Dec. 5, 2016. President Obama is reported to have directed intelligence officials to rewrite findings on Russia's alleged influence on the election. And then, and only then, does the intelligence report claim Putin "aspired" for Trump to win the 2016 election. So what changed between November and December 2016?
