The #Toxic album is out ❤️🔥 My God, what a journey this has been. A journey that I know I will never forget. Firstly, because in this journey I found my elder brother, my mirror voice, my Yash Bhai. Someone who made me feel so free & fearless as an artist. He let me explore things that were sometimes hard to even conceive, and yet through all that madness, he was there, guiding me, believing in every instinct and every crazy idea. Yash bhai♥️ This one is ours. And then my maverick director Geetu Mohandas 🌟 What do I even say about her? She is fearless, uncompromising, crazy and she has redefined boundaries for me. The way she sees cinema, the way she sees sound, silence, characters, emotions… it makes you want to forget everything you know and discover something new. I think that is what Toxic is. A lot of like-minded mad people somehow found each other and came together to make this film, to make this music, to build this world. And beneath all the scale, all the madness and everything you are going to witness, there is soul… I want to congratulate my brothers Ravi Basrur and Tanishk Bagchi ♥️ for being such incredible catalysts in the making of this album, for bringing their own madness and magic into this world. And I want to congratulate every single actor in this film for becoming a voice, a voice that I truly believe is going to travel, resonate, and take over the world. Most importantly ,all my lyric writers, you know there is no music without you. And to my team, who have lived the toxic madness with me and taken what was inside my head and my heart to places that sometimes I could only imagine in my dreams… thank you. I love you guys. The kind of love #Tabaahi is getting is surreal! ❤️ All the credit goes to my big bro Yash for being the brother, the person & the collaborator he is. He thought of the word “Tabaahi” even before we made the song, and every inch of my creativity, including this piece, belongs to US!
