This may be the most heartbreaking video you’ll see today. Boniface Mwangi shares, in raw and painful detail, the horror he endured at the hands of Tanzanian authorities. His voice trembles with the weight of what he lived through a story of cruelty, humiliation and injustice. No human being should ever be treated this way. The Tanzanian government must act not with silence or denial, but with truth and accountability. Those responsible must be held to account. #JusticeForBonifaceMwangi #JusticeForAgatherAtuhaire

Attempts by lawyers and colleagues to access have been thwarted by police at the gate. Crowds are beginning to gather outside the police station gate. This is totally unacceptable.
