wow… liz’s walking on the table was a result of an insane amount of practice… as expected from my hardworking liz 🥹 waackxxxy: i’m dying to know, the part where liz walks across the table, how exactly does she do that? turns out that the tables are custom-made so there are grooves underneath the table for the dancer to follow, but there’s no marking of any sort for liz simeez: liz has to rely entirely on muscle memory built up from practice. it’s all a result of practice. she did it over and over and over and over again W: so it’s completely intuition? S: completely when they did the music bank stage with the silver tables, the tables music bank custom-made for them had different grooves on the underside as compared to the tables they custom-made themselves. meaning to say if the dancer followed the grooves and liz followed her original muscle memory, they wouldn’t be synced up. so they put tape markings on the table for liz, and when people watched it they immediately assumed liz relied on the markings for every stage. when in actual fact that was the only stage where liz had used the tape markings, and every other stage had been a result of her own practice and hardwork… W: so, every other time it was the result of nothing but endless practice S: exactly
