When Kamsi🧜‍♀️📷 began asking questions about Igbo culture, history and traditions, she discovered that many of the photographs documenting our people were taken by foreigners. That discovery inspired her to pick up a camera and tell our stories through our own eyes. This Iri Ji Festival, she will be showcasing pieces from that journey at our photo exhibition, a visual celebration of Igbo heritage, identity and memory. The redevelopment is aimed at transforming one of the South-East’s biggest commercial hubs into a safer, cleaner and more accessible market for traders and visitors.
