On January 3rd, the United States captured Maduro and took operational control of the world's largest proven oil reserves. U.S. companies are now signing deals to develop Venezuela's Orinoco Belt. At home, domestic production is at record levels and climbing. Every barrel we produce or control is one less we need from OPEC. The less we depend on foreign oil cartels, the more leverage we hold over adversaries like China, Russia, and Iran whose economies run on energy exports we no longer need.

Of course in the Cuban diaspora and the exile community in Miami is a community that is thriving... we are prospering in a capitalistic system while Cubans are living in the dark ages essentially."
