I'm more obsessed than I thought I'd be over how well the movies portray sonic and knuckles' dynamic. tension, curiosity, empathy, trust, chemistry, loyalty. even when they're "arguing" there's a push and pull that works for them as they progress and it's honestly really genuine.

I know people were criticizing sonic a lot in S2 bc of his "hero" mentality, but he feels pretty in-character to the games more often than not, imo. also, super sonic is cool but this was probably sonic's nastiest (read: best) move in all the movies so far~

NAAHHHH, knuckles' aura in this movie goes HARD. the absolute raw power and brutality in him turning his body into a force of nature 💥 having the forest backdrop on a two-lane road makes him appear like a ferocious animal in the most intimidating but exciting way
