Here are the graves. This Orange Shirt Day we are returning the Brandon Indian Residential School cemetery grounds to the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation on behalf of many First Nations whose children are buried here. This is one of the most well documented burial grounds at a residential school in Canada with not only church and historical records but also contemporaneous newspaper articles describing what happened to these children. You can not deny history. #orangeshirtday #everychildmatters #truthandreconciliation #trc #herearethegraves

Manitoba, you’ve changed your clocks for the last time. We are just going to stay on summer time a.k.a. Central Daylight Time, a.k.a. The time it is right now. What does this mean for Manitobans? No more changing clocks twice a year. More evening daylight in summer time. More light for your drive home from work in the winter. Less disruptions to sleep and routines. No more springing forward or falling back. So this November 1st, the times they will NOT be a changin’.

Hate and racism have no place in Manitoba. Today at Nagar Kirtan, we saw what is far stronger: faith, community and people gathered in celebration. That spirit is stronger than any hateful and racists graffiti. To Manitoba’s Sikh and Punjabi communities, thank you for everything you contribute to our province. Congratulations to everyone who came together to celebrate Nagar Kirtan. We are stronger together. We are #OneManitoba.

We are saying no to a data centre in Île-des-Chênes because there are big threats to the environment and not much benefit to the economy. Our message to any tech company out there… if you want to build technology with a thoughtful, human-centred approach that puts humanity first, then Manitoba is open for business. 🦬

Crown Royal is Canadian Whiskey made in Gimli, Manitoba. It puts our country and our province on the map globally. Let’s protect these Canadian jobs in Gimli, as well as in Quebec and Ontario. I’m asking my friend Doug to not follow through on boycotting this Canadian product made from the waters of Lake Winnipeg by hard working blue-collar Manitobans. We should all cheers to that!

Every woman is sacred. Every child matters. Every one of us can help make our world a better place. Epstein and his friends were absolutely terrible. Unfortunately there are people doing awful things in too many of our communities as well - violence, trafficking, abuse. Let’s stand together against all of it. We’re investing 2.4M In Genesis House to help women and children leave violence and find a safe place to live. #releasethefiles #nomorestolensisters #everychildmatters

📈 We cut Manitoba’s deficit in half and now on a clear path to balance the books next year. ⚖️ Despite Trump’s threats and global economic instability, we’re adding jobs {humble brag: we have the lowest unemployment in 🇨🇦} AND growing our economy to make life more affordable. Turns out little ol’ Manitoba is a lot stronger than any bully saw coming. 🦬

Our kids are not for sale. We’re moving forward with a first-in-Canada plan to ban social media and AI chatbots for youth - because these platforms are built to capture attention, not protect it. Childhood should be about learning, growing, and being present. Not endless scrolling designed for profit. We owe the next generation something simple: the freedom to be kids. A lot done. A lot more to do.

🇨🇦 Universal health care is a fundamental Canadian value.⚕️ It's what makes Canada stronger. It makes our Canadian economy more competitive. And Canadians live longer than Americans. The case for investing in healthcare is clear. It’s at the core of why we love our country so much. 🍁 📍Premiers’ Meeting

We’ve brought 13 new physicians from the U.S. to Manitoba. So, give us your poor, give us your weary, give us your Americans yearning to be free. Here in Manitoba, we accept people as they are. We celebrate diversity. We keep our doors open to the world. And we stand for free, universal public health care - and it will always be that way 🇨🇦
