WHY I WON'T BE ABLE TO JOIN YOU ALL IN DELHI...! Despite all efforts of the government to hinder & damage our work we continue to work for national security... making preparations as another winter comes. This includes making artificial glaciers for water security & experiments for GLOF or glacial lake flood security... to difuse the 200+ ticking water bombs in high Himalayas. Adapting Faiz Sahab's words I would say... Aur Bhi Gham Hain Zamaane Main Siyaast Ke Siva... Rahaten aur bhi hain wasl ki raahat ke siva. Hence I send my bestest wishes to all & urge the leaders of different groups to stay united & show statesmanship, meanwhile I urge all the genZ friends to once again stay absolutely peaceful at all costs. This was the gift of Baapu that I tried to bring to Jantar Mantar in June, I hope we won't let Baapu down. #JantarMantar #protest #CJP #CEC #sonamwangchuk

INDIA IN A STATE OF UNDECLARED EMERGENCY... Yesterday when I posted a message appealing for unity & peace in today's protest I had never imagined that the biggest democracy in the world would be under an undeclared EMERGENCY. I was happy there were so many leaders to lead the movement, but I now learn that they have all been arrested. I hope those arrested will be released soon. I will be compelled to consider an Anshan Fast or Padyatra March if they are not released by tomorrow. #JantarMantar #protest #CJP #CEC #sonamwangchuk

AMIT SHAH MUST RESIGN... Today Ladakh commemorated the first anniversary of indiscriminate firing with AK 47 on unarmed youth that lead to the killing of 4+1, injury to 80+ & FIRs against 80+. All without any firing order. Even after one year, the report of the Judicial Inquiry commission is suppressed & a paltry compensation of 15 lakh rupees for the dead & 3 lakhs for the severely injured has been announced. In this video I expose the root cause of the firing in Leh & also support Shri Rahul Gandhi in his call #AmitShahMustResign for brutal firing with pallet guns at #JantarMantar. Youth of Ladakh have always stood for the nation during all wars, it's time the nation stands for them. Jai Hind

END OF HUNGER... BEGINNING OF ACCOUNTABILITY...! Sonam Wangchuk ends his fast after 26 days upon getting assurance from the government and members of parliament of all political parties that the issue of accountability in the failing examination system will be discussed on the floors of the Indian Parliament. The government also gave assurance that families of suicide victims in the recent NEET examination paper leak will be given adequate compensation and that there will be no cases registered against the peacefully protesting students and youths. THIS INDIPENDENCE DAY, I NEED YOUR HELP... This country needs a peaceful revolution, at least in how we chose our leaders... if we are to remain even a respectable nation by 2047. Close to half of our MPs have criminal cases and a third have serious charges like murder, rape & kidnapping. No wonder trust deficit has become the biggest deficit in the nation. I want to consult the best minds in the country wherever they are, to brainstorm about what must change and how. Not just intellectuals who think but people who are selfless, fearless men & women of character & substance. Sitting in remote Ladakh I don't know who & where they are, so you can help by proposing at least one such name from the nation, and your region... TOGETHER CAN WE START INDIA'S 2ND INDIPENDENCE MOVEMENT! You can also help by spreading this message and if possible by transalting it in your regional language.

PEACEFUL MARCH TO THE PARLIAMENT, 20th JULY Thanks for all your messages to break my Hunger Strike, but that wouldn't help the 20 students who committed suicide nor will that help protect the mountains of Ladakh or the rivers of India. If you really want to help then do a little more than messages from comfy couches, then come to Delhi & to Jantar Mantar on 20th July, when the Monsoon session of Indian Parliament starts. Together we'll start a very Peaceful March to the Sansad and appeal to our honorable MPs to take the issue up and find a lasting solution... #cockroachjantaparty #cjpprotest #jantarmantar
