Trooper’s journey is an absolute miracle. We rescued him at just 7 months old after he had eaten ropes and coconut husks out of pure desperation on the streets. Things were incredibly dire. His small intestine had been twisted for about 10 days and had actually started to rot. The surgery to save him was brutal. The doctor found 150 ml of inflammatory fluid in his abdomen, and his spleen and pancreas were severely inflamed. They had to remove about 1.2 meters of his intestine, leaving him with only a tiny fraction of what a normal dog has. He was in critical care for a week, but those amazing vets saved his life! Fast forward almost a year: Trooper is a super healthy, incredibly happy boy. Because his intestine is now so short, he has some trouble with nutrient absorption and requires a special diet of easily digested food and supplements for the rest of his life. But honestly? None of that phases him. We took him to the beach today, and seeing the pure joy on his face makes every hard day worth it. Keep thriving, Trooper! 🏖️❤️

Because we see Jimbo every single day, it is sometimes easy to forget just how much he has changed since he first arrived at Happy Doggo Land. Looking back at those first two photos, it is heartbreaking to see how incredibly skinny and fragile he was. But today? He is a happy, healthy boy with a very important job. He takes his role of guarding the kitchen and delivering food very seriously. He is officially a man of duties, and we could not be more proud of him! ❤️

A lot of our rescues are urgent, but this sweet little boy was in a league of his own. We found him with a severe neck injury from a piece of string that had been digging into him, but he was so incredibly terrified of humans that he actually escaped down a hole to hide. It took 36 long hours and the help of a kind local boy to finally bring him to safety, but we were never going to leave him behind. Today, that terrible pain has finally been lifted. He is still very nervous, but he is starting to slowly open his heart to our team a little more each day. The bravest little survivor is finally in safe hands.

One day you’re climbing headfirst into a drainage tunnel at 9 AM, and the next you’re out feeding street packs in a rainstorm. Sometimes it means showing up to work feeling completely unwell but refusing to quit, or relying on 10-minute car naps between rescues just to keep your eyes open. The exhaustion is real, and some weeks completely drain you but then you look at that last photo. Seeing Tina’s Hospital finally coming together makes every single rainstorm and brutal day completely worth it. This is exactly what we are working so hard for, and we wouldn't trade it for the world. ❤️

But one operation later, our amazing vet team removed the tumours, his pain is gone, and he is back to his happy self! We dropped him back with his guardians today and he was absolutely chuffed. We wish we had a bigger update on Mr. Bear today, but unfortunately, there isn't much change. He is still very sick and fighting a tough battle. The most important thing right now is that he is finally safe with us, and our medical team is doing absolutely everything in our power to fix him.

She was physically broken and completely terrified of the world. While her leg gets stronger every day, her emotional healing has been the real journey. For 6 months, this poor boy was stuck in a tiny cage. No room to run, no puppy time, nothing. We thought getting him out was the hard part, but once we brought him back, we realized something was seriously wrong. His back legs are totally bent and weak, he basically has zero muscle from being trapped in such a small space for so long. He can barely walk. Meet Timothée Chalamet 🐾 Instead of just finding him a home, Timothée needs some major rehab to fix his legs so he can actually run around and be a puppy again.❤️

You really have to wonder how dogs like her manage to survive out there alone. We spent months getting her healthy again, and the most amazing part was that despite everything she had been through, all she wanted was to be loved. She was just the sweetest little girl waiting for someone to give her heart to. Her patience finally paid off when a wonderful British family moving to Phuket decided to adopt her. Today, she never has to face the scary world alone again. She is sleeping on soft beds, getting spoiled rotten, and living her absolute best life like a little puppy all over again. "How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." Today, we had to say our final goodbyes to Atlas. Someone dumped Rocky because he was old and blind.💔 When we found him, he was in terrible shape, it was touch-and-go for a while. We weren't sure he’d make it. But he started coming back. He learned our voices, trusted us, and followed us anyway. Now, he’s one of the friendliest dogs we’ve ever met. He can’t even see who we are, but his trust is absolute. We took him to the beach today and it was incredible to watch. His guard is completely down, and he’s just entirely in the moment. Rocky can’t see all the love right in front of him, but he can absolutely feel it. We could all learn a lot from him ❤️
