The Blizzard of 2026 Evening Update A play by play of exactly what to expect tomorrow through Monday. Some areas will be measuring feet of snow when this is all said and done. Intense snowfall rates and high winds are to be expected tomorrow night through Monday.

*Friday Night Storm Discussion* Blockbuster winter storm impacts the region Sun-Mon. I am expecting a blizzard in spots as a sub 975 low will bomb out and tuck into the coast Sun night. Video below breaks it down.

1pm Storm Update Observations look good to put everything on track. A lot of hysteria over eastern shift on models. I give my take on this below. More to come as day progresses. This storm in is its infancy right now.

9pm Update: Crippling snowstorm continues to pound the region. Totals are piling up fast and remember the wind will crack up overnight. The storm is deepening and bands coming off ocean are 1-4" per hour snowfall rates. Still in the early innings, buckle up.

Big Time Storm Potential This Weekend: Here is my initial assessment of the factors I am watching. No official first call until tomorrow when i have enough data to evaluate if the miss scenario has any merit. I rather have a good first jump then rush it out.

My thoughts on next weeks east coast storm threat. Pattern looks great but this is most hyped period i have ever seen in my 25 years following the weather. A lot still needs to go right. In video below i take you though it step by step.

Quick Video Not that bullish for tristate early next week, GFS looks overdone. Sheered off initial wave due to strong HP then the follower system tues/wed attacks the high and snow interior with snow to mix/rain tri state. Long range looks good to me for one last hurrah
