The Republicans packed the Court then, but call the idea radical now. The result: an illegitimate 6-3 Court dismantling voting rights, workers' rights, and reproductive freedom. We need reform now.

Was the assassination attempt on President Trump an attack? Trump’s judicial nominee Daniel Domenico (10th Cir.) thinks so. But was January 6th an attack on the Capitol? Were police officers attacked? Judge Domenico won’t say. Trump doesn't want his crony judges admitting to Richard Blumenthal or anyone on the Senate Judiciary Committee what actually happened that day. They are not fit for this lifetime position.

.Senator Dick Durbin just exposed the threat of Trump judicial nominee Justin Smith. He noted that if an eighth grader explained what the Electoral College did, instead of answering who won the 2020 popular vote, they wouldn’t pass. This is exactly what Smith did. It isn't rocket science: Donald Trump lost. Joe Biden won. So why won’t Trump’s nominees say it? Because Trump is nominating them not for their experience, but for their loyalty. Smith is part of a broader effort to stack the courts and the Justice Department with people who won’t say no to Trump. We must demand #NoCronyJudges.

Judge Traynor signed a letter to Columbia's president about campus protests. Nobody asked him to. He just did it. But at his hearing, Senator Adam Schiff asked him who won the 2020 election. Too controversial, Traynor said. Can't touch it. He'll weigh in on campus politics voluntarily. He won't answer a basic question about our democracy under oath. Judge Traynor is a crony auditioning for Trump, just like the 50 Trump judicial nominees before him. And he's up for a lifetime seat on the federal bench.

.Richard Blumenthal asked a simple question: Who won the 2020 election? Trump judicial nominee Justin Smith refused to answer, just like every one of Trump’s judicial nominees before him.
