You’ve got people who still haven’t opened a pack of 30th Celebration and then you have people like this. This hobby sucks at times.

I also despise vendors & shops like this. Most people understand they’ll be offered a percentage for their cards or product because of the overhead costs etc, but 60% for trade and 50% for cash is an absolute disgrace.

This is the downside to all the generous vendors out there. Kids asking everyone for free stuff.

Worst 30th Celebration story I’ve seen. Geek Retreat Chelmsford told customers they weren’t allowed to queue until 30 mins before opening, they weren’t allowed to park outside the shop, and there would be a 1pp limit. All of that went out the window when two celebrities (Joe Swash & Stacey Solomon) showed up. They parked right outside, skipped the queue and bought most of the stock, leaving about 10 items for the 200+ people still waiting.

Absolute chaos at a Target restock 🤦🏼‍♂️ Apparently these people had been standing in line since 4am and were well organised. Target employees then told them they weren’t going to honour the line and it was going to be a free for all instead (their exact words).

This is why you should avoid WhatNot. Streamer resealed packs and stupidly put a trainer from Prismatic in Ascended Heroes. Offers a refund straight away and ends stream right after. Doesn’t get more guilty than that.

It’s actually crazy how much product some of these rip & shippers get. More than most stores.
