The Witcher 3 has a quest about a mage who buys a tower pre-owned and gets locked out of it by DRM (Defense Regulatory Magicon). Geralt must help the mage find GOG (Gottfried's Omni-opening Grimoire) to remove the DRM and allow him access to his new tower. Insanely relevant.

New info on EXODUS has been revealed. - Feels like classic Bioware - full character creation as Jun Aslan - "Paladin/Immortal" morality system - combat includes companion abilities - scan enemies for weaknesses - gorgeous home base hub - Matthew McConaughey is C.C. Orlev - 2 companions per mission - worthwhile romances - time dilation is crucial to some choices Impressions from this weekend's extended gameplay reveal seem very strong. Exodus has been and remains one of my most anticipated games of 2027. It's been too long since we've had RPGs like this one.

If I was Beethoven & Dinosaur I would be shocked that people are complaining about the rewind feature in Mixtape. Isn't this just good design for this type of game? You can't seriously tell me you'd rather have to reload after a Game Over screen for this.

Anyone who says Mixtape isn't a game might just not like narrative-driven adventure games, which is fine. It's not about fail states, choices, or obstacles, it's an interactive curated experience meant to make you feel something. Mixtape is good because it accomplishes that.
