The corrected statement says a case of discrepancies has NOT been established. Meanwhile, NELFUND approved N2.9 billion for 19 institutions across every zone except the South-East. The MD says it is not a political snub, just that South-East institutions have not verified their students. If a missing "NOT" is worth N71.2 billion, imagine what a misplaced comma could cost the Nigerian taxpayer. In Nigeria, even typos come with a price tag.

The UK panicked over falling polls and booted its Prime Minister in under two years. But that same UK rushed to crown Bola Ahmed Tinubu after a flawed election, gave him a State Visit, and watched as 141 million Nigerians sank into poverty while he demanded four more years. The UK can spot its own rot but will crown yours. That is not diplomacy. That is hypocrisy.

The rain came, and Lagos drowned. But it was not climate change that did this; it was the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. The road blocked the water's path to the sea, forcing it back into the homes of ordinary Nigerians. Foreign banks like Deutsche Bank and First Abu Dhabi funded this project and will collect tolls for two decades, no matter how many communities are destroyed. The road is rising. The water is rising, the people are drowning, and the foreign profit is the only thing standing tall.

Nigeria isn’t broke. It is being looted. While citizens face hunger, darkness, and failing infrastructure, ₦39 billion was reportedly spent on renovating Wike’s event centre, ₦128 billion in the power sector remains unaccounted for as tariffs rise, and billions were allegedly diverted to a private farm while millions lack water. At the same time, ₦11 billion went to presidential vehicles and lawmakers plan billions for travel and welfare.
