Unbelievable Wildfire 🔥 Thursday evening in the Alpine was jaw dropping.. I have never witnessed such an atomic bomb going off.. looking north and east to Kelowna, BC with the Pacific Crest Trail below.. this pyro cumulus grew and grew.. the wind was gusting 25 to 30mph on the ridge top i was on.. smoke filled the sky around us. Incredible send off ! 🌷 🌷 🪿 🪿 😮 On this day last year, thousands of snow geese took off from a field near McLean Rd. Their migration starts around the first of April, but we got lucky in the middle of the month with tulips in bloom. The way they lift off above the colors is breathtaking. #wawx #pnw #nature

Heavy snowfall in the valley ❄️ I’ve always wanted to film Trumpeter swans in the snow, but I didn’t realize how special this morning would be. Hundreds of them took off in front of us, along with thousands of ducks. It was incredible. They landed in the next field, where the ground turned completely white. #wawx #pnw #nature Amie Wheeler

Last night was pretty incredible. Amie and I drove up the mountain, knowing the clouds would move in quickly. It took about an hour and 20 minutes to get there. On the way up, we saw reds and greens just above the vehicle. We stopped to overlook White Salmon and Mt. Shuksan. #wawx #pnw #aurora Amie Wheeler

It was unbelievable 🌌 The most brilliant display of of Auroras through the clouds.. the lake reflection was like a mirror as if you were seeing 2 auroras at once.. the small breaks in the clouds makes it look like a tunnel effect with the colors above.. pinks, reds, greens all over 😮 #wawx #pnw
