Twenty-five years ago tomorrow morning I went from flying my first trip as a pilot for American Airlines to sitting at the end of a runway in an armed F/A-18 Hornet, prepared to shoot down a civilian airliner over my own country. I pray no one ever has to make that choice again. But praying isn’t a defense policy. Our enemies are still fighting, still patient, still coming. The threats have only gotten faster and harder to stop. “Never forget” can’t just mean we remember the dead - it has to mean we’re ready for the current and future threats who’d do it again. Remembrance without readiness is just nostalgia. Never forget 🇺🇸 And never be caught unprepared again. Fight’s On! SuziNFH

My beautiful princess has a new home ❤️💙 After growing up with two older brothers, Keeley is officially surrounded by sisters - and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Today she begins a new chapter at Ole Miss with her new Delta Gamma sisters, in the very place where Delta Gamma was founded more than 150 years ago. Her mom and I know that wherever life takes her, we will always be her home. The place she can come back to, no questions asked, with arms wide open and more love than she could ever possibly know. But as we leave our little girl here to begin this incredible chapter of her life, my prayer is simple: May this home away from home love her, protect her, challenge her, celebrate her and remind her every day just how special she is. After 18 years of watching her grow into the beautiful young woman she is today, letting go isn’t easy. I am proud of my princess and thank God for her every day. Go make some incredible memories, Keeley Grace. Your family will always be right here cheering you on. Welcome home, DG. ⚓️❤️💙 SuziNFH Ole Miss Delta Gamma

B-52H Crash at Edwards AFB. 8 souls. This was a B-52H Stratofortress assigned to the 412th Test Wing, and multiple reports indicate it was one of the Air Force’s dedicated test aircraft involved in the Radar Modernization Program (RMP) flight test effort. The aircraft was carrying a mixed crew of military personnel, government civilians, and contractors on a radar test mission when it crashed shortly after takeoff. From a test pilot perspective, the crew size is notable. A normal operational B-52H crew is five, but there were eight personnel aboard, which strongly suggests this was a developmental test sortie with additional flight-test engineers, contractors, or instrumentation specialists riding along. A very tragic day for the test community. Edwards, TPS, Boeing, and the bomber folks are a very small world. Eight souls lost on what should have been a “routine developmental flight”. But nothing is routine in military and test aviation. God bless their souls and families. The No Fallen Heroes Foundation Foundation is standing by to support the families. SuziNFH
