After a near brawl, one person detained, ambulance called for another, and numerous scuffles, roughly 75 juveniles hopped on the metro. Transit Police tells me they cause constant issues and will likely be back tonight. National Guard members said they wanted to “fight us.” I spoke with half a dozen people traveling, and they said the scene was “totally ridiculous.” One couple said it was great the Guard was there.

More chaos in Navy Yard, Washington D.C. Roughly 100+ juveniles arrived around 10pm after a planned event in the city. It took police and National Guard over an hour to push them towards the Metro and exit the area. Police were prepared with paintballs and pepper spray. Multiple fights were reported by police. "It's just feels great to know we are back." A family owned business started by Greek immigrants more than 50 years ago has taken the internet by storm. Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, located near Baltimore, MD, gave a brutal response to a ridiculous article on why people feel “yucky” cheering for the United States in the Winter Olympics. Mike Cornblatt, Sales Director for Jimmy's, tells Border Hawk the response has been overwhelming. "We love just showing our patriotism." Jimmy's is giving out crab cakes for life to the U.S. men's and women's hockey team, and has offered to cater the upcoming visit the teams have to the White House. Orders are skyrocketing and people from over the country are calling to show appreciation for their love of the U.S.A.

Virginians have traveled across the state to voice their objection to the new gun laws that will ban the purchase of high capacity magazines. The proposal would also ban a wide range of firearms and features, including semi-automatic center-fire pistols with magazines exceeding 15 rounds, rifles with detachable magazines and weapons with certain characteristics such as collapsible or thumbhole stocks and threaded barrels. Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger signaled she looks forward to "reviewing" the sweeping firearms ban from state Sen. Saddam Salim, D-Dunn Loring, when it reaches her desk next week. Broadview Police Chief Thomas Mills is now on scene at the ICE detention facility. Chief Mills had previously stated that ICE agents are draining the resources of his department and the community by making false 911 calls. State Trooper approaches protesters telling them it’s their second warning after entering the street.

NEWARK: New Jersey's most populated city is home to roughly 310k people with an estimated 77% being citizens. Neighborhoods in Newark are dominated by immigrant communities particularly in the "Ironbound" region which is home to a large Lusophone population. The city has earned the nickname "Little Portugal" and now has an even larger Brazilian population compared to years prior. New Jersey is home to an estimated 460,000+ illegal immigrants and has the sixth-largest share of immigrant residents in the country. Local organizations and the consulate in the Newark area often estimate the true "undocumented" Brazilian community alone to be double or more what official figures show. It is believed that the heavily immigrant areas of Newark are severely undercounted as many households refused to participate in the census for fear of deportation. The top country of origin for immigrants in Newark is Ecuador, with 13,762 immigrants and accounts for a large number of the Hispanic population. Considering the volume and size of these communities, it's shocking that more people aren't protesting at the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility. The siege of the Home 2 Suites hotel last night and a story of bravery. Courage - The capacity to endure, struggle, and act despite facing extreme danger, pain, or death. 8:46pm: Outside of the Home 2 Suites on University Ave in Minneapolis the first video is posted by and protesters have already blocked the road with trash bins, garbage, and are making a loud racket. Roughly a hundred people are outside of the hotel they believe federal agents are staying at. 9:09pm: Rioters are lighting off fireworks and the crowd is growing. They are blocking traffic and controlling the road. The outside of the building is vandalized, and the crowd is writing, “F*ck ICE" on the windows. 9:19pm: Agitators are attempting to storm the entrance and are met by hotel security. “You got to get out right now.” says a staff member as he tries to lock and bar the doors. Strobe lights, noise makers are constant while the hotel staff pleads with agitators to leave. “All the staff is local, man.” 9:51pm: One lone MPD officer is attempting to assist hotel staff and is barricading the door. Rioters push, shove, and attack the staff to keep the door open. Objects go flying and reporters are hit with glass bottles/ice bottles. “F*ck you!” Rioters scream. It’s at this moment the rioters attack the outside of the building. Ripping signs off, defacing property, hacking at the structure with shovels. Hotel staff continues to be assaulted. Debris is starting to fill the lobby. Shortly after, the first windows are shattered. There is still only one police officer present. Reporter on the ground states, “Doesn’t seem like more police is expected to come.” As the battle for the lobby rages, multiple clashes and confrontations continue.; Roughly 10:52pm. 3 officers from the Bureau of Prisons arrive. Running down the sidewalk tossing tear gas canisters as they charge into the fray. Explosions go off and all BOP officers head for the front doors. “Get out of our city your pieces of sh*t!” screams one rioter. One person approaches the front and yells, “I am not scared of your pu**y ass!” and he’s immediately hit by a bean bag round. “GET BACK!” Shouts the BOP officer. Clouds of gas envelope the scene. The lone officer is bloodied off camera as he guards the entrance while hotel guests are evacuated. Surrounded by 10+ reporters he shouts, “Where is the local PD?! That’s my question to the press. Where is the local PD?” “Please, give me some room. It’s me and 30 people. Please, get back.” One press member offers assistance due to his bleeding. He turns and spits blood onto the ground and maintains his post. “GET BACK!” He bellows to the crowd and provides instructions to his team inside to not bring any guests out the front. Another officer arrives from inside and maintains the post. It is now almost 11:00pm, and there is no sign of back-up. With bloodied hands, he uses his cell phone to make a call. “We need you here.” Roughly 11:04pm the main officer exits the hotel to confront a rioter and an object come in off screen and strikes him in the head. 11:05. More agents can be seen exiting the building and the SRT has arrived in an armored vehicle. A fresh volley of gas canisters is deployed and the scene is cleared. Other officers have arrived and roughly a 100 MPD officers are coming up the road. Mass arrests take place including members of the media. An announcement comes over the speaker system, “This is the Minneapolis Police Department. You are all under arrest. Sit Down.” Muffled explosions continue and more police arrive. It is unknown the condition of the officer who sustained injuries or the amount of arrests. Other reporters documented numerous vehicles being destroyed. These BOP officers charged into danger. They didn’t know the extent of the danger; they didn’t know the size of the crowd; they didn’t care. They rushed to help when help was needed. Courage. Anacostia is located in Southeast D.C., across the river from Capitol Hill in Ward 8. D.C. has seen an increase in National Guard and federal assets, and we asked the local manager at DCity Smokehouse what his views on the increase in federal patrols. "They are making their presence felt, because you can tell the streets are, they quiet. A lot of people don't want that smoke." said Shawn McWhirter. We asked Shawn if he felt the area was dangerous and in need of federal help. "The youngsters out here wildin'. They do the wildest things. They got their ski mask on. If I see you with your ski mask on, you spending the whole week in jail. You scaring old folks out here." "We don't want to be on edge no more. “They are actually foreign terrorists and alien enemies of the United States.” White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller corrects a reporter who asked him about the "alleged gang members." The Trump Administration signed an EO on Friday evening putting into effect the Alien Enemies Act. Planes carrying almost 200 suspected TdA members were in the air heading for El Salvador by Saturday. Judge James Boasberg of the Washington D.C. District Court ordered a halt to the deportation flights and directed them to turn the flights around. Miller commented on the Judge's ruling calling it, “The most unlawful order that any district court judge has issued in our lifetimes without even a close second.” “The President is operating at the apex of his authority when you are dealing with questions of invasion and questions of alien enemy infiltration as well as the expulsion of terrorist illegal aliens from the county.”
