austerity is theft

Shorts

this needs to be an ad in every single race

here’s Elissa Slotkin yesterday, endorsing Bill Maher’s Islamophobia as meeting her standards, and bragging that she’s appeared on his show 4 times

what was she telling people to do

She *did not* compare her district to the genocide of Gaza (ffs!!), she was asked to talk about a trip she made to the West Bank and Israel *in 2014* and how it shaped her views — and said that she saw a through line in terms of housing displacement for communities of color.

“I think the worst thing for America that could possibly happen [in 2025, while masked ICE goons are disappearing people] is if the Democratic party went off the deep end.” “We try to make sure that the Democratic party does not become a party of socialists.”

“Why has the PR been so awful?… typically the Israelis are good at PR—what’s happened here, how have they and we been so ineffective at communicating the realities and our POV?… some wonder why there was such overwhelming support for us to shut down potentially TikTok.”

“Netanyahu finally found a president that was sucker enough to launch the war that he’s been pushing for for 30 years” Do you think the U.S. should stop aiding Israel, should pull back on aid to Israel? “Yes…”

This BBC interview with a rally goer is absolutely extraordinary. 1/2

He got serenaded by drag queens, and shot videos about trans rights. The way he “neutralized” this as an “hot-button issue” was by *not listening* to the commentariat at all, and everyone being 10x more obsessed with Israel and calling him a communist.

as i was saying

puddle of mudd about a girl sirius xm 2020 this video is a perfect encapsulation of everything that's been stolen from us

here’s the segment trailer that CBS under Weiss deleted from twitter/x

why did you crop this part out too? this stream was from three days before the 2020 election. you should really watch this to see why he’s so heated.

you will not believe what this guy cropped out to start this video here, truly!

“In my first three hours working at al-Aqsa hospital, I treated a one year old boy with a bloody diaper, and his right arm and right leg had been blown off. There was no leg below the diaper. He was bleeding into his chest. I treated him on the ground…”

These people don’t even believe in their own takes from FOUR WEEKS AGO. It’s insane man.

weirdest genre of Platner discourse is haters lecturing that he pivot to something he’s been doing since the primary ended

do you guys just not pay attention to anything before posting?

David Weigel her very first question at her first campaign presser was about it, and she claimed that she worked behind the scenes to undermine her own attorneys as AG to defend gender reassignment surgery for inmates

This is focussed and sharp, and aimed straight at actual Dem primary voters; and it does us no good to pretend that a town hall in Graham’s own backyard, Hancock County, is representative or primary voter sentiment.
