I mean you do have a very good point, however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring. Once again sorry for the long arse tweet and hope the message finds you well boss.

I wish you guys could see my point of view. I could’ve stood opposite someone that I look up to and idolise and you guys could’ve just been silent. Instead you gave us this type of reaction & respect before we even did anything. I’ve never truly felt before. In return we have to give you nothing short of our best. It took so much of me to leave Japan to fully commit to America and a lot of it is anxiety. But this felt like you left the key under the mat and welcomed me into your home. I can’t begin to tell you all the gratitude I feel towards the fans, roster, crew & Tony to be apart of this. Next up: Double Or Nothing !!

I honestly can’t put into words the feeling I’ve had all weekend. It’s been so overwhelming to have felt accepted & wanted in a community of people that I hold such a big place in my heart for. I don’t know how many have seen me since I started but all I’ve wanted to do is show those people who have supported me & gave me the opportunities that their faith in me will never feel be taken for granted. You’ve seen me since I was a young 18 year old kid doing flips in the Res Gal as “Dark Britannico” to this moment. Thank you for just letting me go on this incredible journey of growing up in front of all of you. I give you every last piece of me to continue flying the flag for this country.

Windzaaaaaa!!!! No shame admitting this….i cried my eyes out watching this. NJPW was my life for 8 years. Leaving it back in 2024 was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, because I have such a love for those letters. Seeing my future wife earn the respect of the company that gave me my career I cannot put into words the pride I have watching her walk out like a pokemon that’s in it final form of evolution was the best. And to see my mum standing up cheering her future daughter in law, Mate….this moment will live with me forever.
