Last night, the fire had company, it rose from your voices. It shone on faces we could not see beyond the lights, but whose love reached us on stage. We came like the parcel guy, only this delivery needed no signature. You signed for it in song. You gave the night your voices and we gave it everything we had. Now the stage is silent. Morning carried us back to our separate lives. Yet in my heart the love you showed continues. Let’s continue meeting with grateful hearts and music worthy of the time you give us. Thank you. We delivered the parcel. You gave it a home in your hearts.

A CELEBRATION OF MUSICAL BROTHERHOOD Kadoma, last night offered another reminder that the true measure of a musical journey is found in the sincerity of human connections. My musical journey draws meaning from you, the family that continues to nurture it. No voice, however powerful, can create an enduring echo without the hearts that receive it. As the night unfolded, sharing the stage with the legendary Beenie Man, gave our song renewed life in your presence and symbolised a cultural reunion between Africa and the Caribbean. It affirmed that while history may have scattered the branches of our shared heritage across oceans, the roots of our cultural consciousness remain profoundly interconnected. It was a demonstration that meaningful relationships are sustained not by convenience, but by conviction. Kadoma, you revealed the generosity of our spirit and the wisdom of standing together.

Mutare, you reminded us that a musical journey finds its meaning in the people who walk it together. Each voice that sang along carried a story of its own and those chants gave us a shared sense of belonging and experience. You stayed into the early hours of dawn, giving up your sleep to show love. Time is a precious part of what we have to give, and I receive yours with utmost gratitude. Your sing alongs made the songs live beyond the stage. As night yielded to morning, I felt the responsibility that comes with your steadfast support, which is to keep creating with honesty and to honour the place this music holds in your lives. Thank you for another cherished chapter in our journey. May the warmth we shared remain with us.

Masvingo, your presence this morning at Caravan Park carved a bridge between your warm embrace of the musical journey and the greatness of Dzimbahwe. You affirmed the shared heritage that binds us. You reframed the cold morning and gave it devoted companionship with energy from the music, to give all of us a shared purpose in this cultural landscape. My music drew currency from the same energy that sustained the rich heritage in the stone enclosures. Your steadfast sing alongs echoed and redeemed unity and a sense of belonging to the lineage of resilience embodied in Great Zimbabwe.

Waking up grateful after a strong 10km run at Musabvunda Fitness&Wellness Festival. 1st time rolling with the fitness fam and it opened my eyes to how fitness and art move in the same rhythm-all need focus, discipline and Gafa heart. Big up Musabvunda and Gafas who showed up.

Blessed to the dedicated Gafas who braved the chilly Glamis weather to electrify the atmosphere during my set yesterday, your unfaltering support remains stimulating. Your presence reinforced strength of ‘Gafa till l die” conviction. Thank you for being part of Gafa tradition
