Call me cynical, but I couldn't help noticing most of the people outside the Iranian Embassy in London on Saturday calling for an uprising in Iran were actually from UK Zionist groups. Many of them the exact same faces that turn up to counter-protest at the Gaza peace marches.

I've just watched several speeches from today's “Rally Against Antisemitism.” Predictably, the real agenda for many of the speakers and the crowd wasn't antisemitism at all — it was anti-Muslim and anti-Iran sentiment. It's clearly a right-wing, pro-Israel rally.

Today I should just be sad for the innocent victims stabbed in Golders Green by a lone man with serious mental health problems. But instead, I’m also angry that some people are trying to pin the blame on peace-loving people who marched for a ceasefire in Gaza.

They’ve just arrested the 83 year old vicar again at the Palestine Action protest. I think that’s the third time she’s been arrested now, what a ridiculous use of police time.
