Yesterday, we were privileged to attend a special reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Their Majesties King Charles and Queen Camilla, alongside the Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. This incredible event recognised the vital work of humanitarian organisations and individuals responding to global crises. A heartfelt thank you to HM King Charles for his ongoing support of humanitarian efforts and for honouring World Vision’s 75 years of emergency assistance. We were delighted to be joined by some of our amazing supporters, including Susan Tobbell, Joanna Luck from Benefact Trust, and one of World Vision UK’s inspiring Youth Advocates, Mariana Fedchyshyn. With over 300 million people predicted to need humanitarian aid in 2025, we are incredibly grateful for the support that allows us to reach so many — especially vulnerable children. 1 in 4 people receiving humanitarian aid do so through World Vision — but the need continues to outpace resources.
